Built in 1680 on the location of « The House of Kings of Navarre ».
Built in a U-shape, around a court of 245m2, bordered with elegant arcades. Could store 30.000 cannon-balls and weapons.
The building, now the town’s property, was renovated in 1992 ; It contains the tourism office, a small museum of « CHAR », on the 1st floor, headquarters of "Zoom 64", on the second floor, accomodation for the pilgrims of Compostelle; and various rental apartments.
